Main Inspectorate of Defense Ministry to conduct comprehensive analysis of Ground Forces Command – Umerov

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov has announced that the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Events in the Ground Forces have a direct impact on the situation at the front. That is why I support the need for the new commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, to have a complete picture of the situation. To do this, the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he wrote on Facebook.
According to the minister, this will include an analysis of the organizational structure and powers; assessment of the effectiveness of management processes; verification of compliance with legislation.
Based on the results of the audit, the Ministry of Defense will introduce reforms in the management system and personnel policy in the Ground Forces Command.
It will optimize management processes; enhance the combat capability of our units with new approaches to training.
"This is a step towards a more efficient and strong army," Umerov said.
