The Defense Forces have lost a number of positions in the Kurakhove direction in Donetsk region, but repelled all enemy attacks in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Lyman directions, according to a report on the progress of military operations in the area of ​​responsibility of the operational-strategic group of forces Khortytsia.

"High enemy activity remains in the Kurakhove direction. In the urban development of Kurakhove, in the areas of Dalne, Dachne and Uspenivka, enemy assault groups are trying to further infiltrate our battle formations. Individual positions of the defense forces have been lost. The enemy continues to accumulate forces for subsequent attacks," the Khortytsia Task Force reported on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.

In the Lyman direction, despite numerous losses, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical situation in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, and is conducting assaults in urban areas.

In the Vremivka and Pokrovsk directions, activities are continuing to search for, detect, and destroy enemy assault groups.

"Ukrainian Defense Forces units continue to destroy superior enemy forces in order to slow down and stop their offensive actions," the report says.
