AFU General Staff: 131 combat clashes recorded along entire frontline, especially in Pokrovsk axis
Since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, some 131 combat clashes have been recorded along the entire front line, the hottest ones are in Pokrovsk axis, where the number of battles has reached 32, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
"The enemy does not stop trying to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine. Currently, the enemy has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 131 times. It is most active in Pokrovsk and Vremivka axes, where it carried out almost half of all attacks," the General Staff said in a summary on Facebook on Friday.
The General Staff said "the hottest ones are in Pokrovsk axis." Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already carried out 32 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Luch, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novy Trud, Zelene, Pischane and Pushkine. The defense forces, holding back the enemy onslaught, repelled 23 attacks. Nine clashes are ongoing.
"There are 18 combat clashes in Kurakhove axis, the invaders are most actively trying to advance in the areas of Stari Terny, Sontsivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalne, Dachne, Hannivka and Uspenivka. Seven clashes are still ongoing," the General Staff said.
In Vremivka axis, the invaders have launched 29 offensives on the positions of the Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Trudove, Vesely Hai, Kostiantynopilske, Sukhi Yaly, Blahodatne, Storozheve, Neskuchne, Makarivka and Novodarivka, ten battles continue.
In Lyman axis, the Russian Army continues to attack in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Nadia, Zeleny Hai, Shyikivka, Makiyivka, Terny, Zarichne, Torske, Dibrova and Hryhorivka. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled ten out of 19 attacks in this direction. The battles continue. The enemy fired unguided rockets at Serhiivka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one assault in Bilohorivka area in the northern direction. The enemy dropped unguided bombs on Siversk. In Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked five times in Chasiv Yar area. Currently, seven enemy attacks have occurred in Toretsk axis. The enemy was active in the areas of Toretsk and Deliivka. Two attacks have been stopped, five clashes continue. In Kharkov axis, the Russian Army attempted to carry out offensive actions near Vovchansk, one combat clash continues. Enemy aviation struck Hranove and Vovchanski Khutory with UABs.
The enemy attacked our positions in Kupiansk direction six times. Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy assaults near Kolesnykivka, Bohuslavka and Lozova.
In Dnipro axis, the occupiers made one unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian forces.
"In Kursk region, our defenders repelled nine attacks by the invaders today, five more combat clashes continue," the General Staff said.
