One person killed, two injured due to enemy shelling in Kherson region
In Kherson region, a civilian was killed and two people were injured as a result of enemy shelling, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has reported.
"According to the investigation, on December 12, the Russian military once again shelled the settlements of Kherson region using artillery and drones. As of 17:30, it is known about the dead man and two civilian casualties. A 67-year-old man died in Dniprovsky district of Kherson as a result of dropping explosives from an enemy drone. As a result of the attacks in the regional center, a 54-year-old man and a 51—year-old woman were also injured," the Prosecutor General's Office said in a Telegram message on Thursday.
Enemy shelling also damaged at least 15 civilian facilities, including private and apartment buildings, buildings of private and public institutions, and cars.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of Kherson region, an investigation has been launched into the facts of war crimes (Parts 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
