General Staff reports 102 combat clashes at frontline since midnight, incl 29 on Pokrovsk axis
A total of 102 combat clashes were recorded along the front line since midnight and as of 4 p.m. on Monday, the situation is particularly tough on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said in Monday updates on Facebook.
"The enemy has been highly active on the Pokrovsk axis. There were 29 combat clashes of varying intensity today. Ukrainian units repulsed 24 attacks in the vicinity of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachenske, Chumatske, and Shevchenko," it said.
According to the General Staff, on the Kurakhove axis, 16 enemy assaults were repelled in the area of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Zoria, Dalne, Dachne, and Kurakhove, and there are nine ongoing combat clashes in the area.
On the Vremiv axis, the aggressor attacked 14 times the areas of Kostiantynopil, Novosilky, and Storozhove. There are five ongoing battles in the area.
On the Lyman axis, ten combat clashes were recorded in the vicinity of Hrekivka, Zeleny Hai, Nadia, Makiyivka, Torske, and Yampolivka. There are six ongoing combat clashes in the area.
On the Toretsk axis, the occupiers attacked six times the areas of Toretsk and Nelipivka, four attacks were successfully repulsed, and two continue.
On the Prydniprovsk axis, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions three times. They faced tough response and suffered losses.
On the Kharkiv axis, three combat clashes were recorded in the vicinity of Hlyboke and Vovchansk, and there is one ongoing battle in the area.
On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to advance towards Ukrainian positions in the area of Lozova and Zahryzove. One attack has been successfully repulsed and there is one ongoing battle in the area.
In Russia's Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks. Nine combat clashes were recorded in the direction.
