Outgoing US administration will continue increasing military assistance to Ukraine – Blinken

The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden will continue efforts to increase military assistance to Kyiv, State Department Chief Antony Blinken said on Tuesday.

He said at a press conference in Italy that they would continue their efforts to increase military assistance to Ukraine in order to strengthen its defense capability. According to him, such actions will help Ukraine respond to the escalation conducted by Russia.

In addition, Blinken expressed concern about cooperation between Russia and the DPRK in the military sphere, noting that such a position is shared by the United States, in particular, Japan and South Korea. In addition, he once again called on China to use its influence to achieve a change in Russia's position on Ukraine.
