The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to take measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. As of 4 p.m. on Thursday, 88 combat clashes were recorded along the front line, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported on the Telegram channel.

The situation on the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk and Kupyansk axes is the toughest.

On the Kurakhove axis, the enemy army attacked 25 times in the areas of Berestky, Sontsivka, Illinka, Novoselydivka, Zoria, Dalne and Kostiantynivka. Eighteen attempts of the occupiers to advance have already been repulsed. In addition, the enemy dropped four guided bombs on the settlements of Romanivka and Dachne.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the Russian invaders made 14 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions. The defense forces restrained the pressure and repelled eight enemy attacks, while six combat clashes are still ongoing.

The occupiers carried out ten assault operations on the Kupyansk axis.
