Zelenskyy: Ukrainian military holding back enemy group of almost 50,000 personnel in Kursk region
Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back an enemy group of almost 50,000 personnel in Russia's Kursk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Monday, reporting new solutions for strengthening the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk axes.
"Before that Staff HQ meeting, I heard a detailed report by [Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine] Oleksandr Syrsky. There is a decision of the Commander-in-Chief on a significant strengthening of the difficult axes – Kurakhove and Pokrovsk. In Kursk region, our guys continue to hold back an enemy group of almost 50,000 personnel outside Ukraine," the head of state said on the Telegram channel.
