URCS volunteers eliminating consequences of missile strike on Kryvyi Rih; at night their colleagues worked in Zaporizhia

The Kryvyi Rih link of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is taking part in the aftermath of a missile strike on a five-storey residential building in Kryvyi Rih on Monday.

“The Kryvyi Rih link of Dnipropetrovsk regional rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross is working at the site of the shelling together with other rescue services. They are providing all necessary assistance to the victims and rescuers,” the URCS said on Telegram on Monday.

The rescue operation continues.

As reported, as a result of enemy rocket fire in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, eight people were injured on Monday morning, including two children, there may still be people under the rubble.

Last night, URCS volunteers also provided first aid and transported to medical institutions the wounded as a result of overnight Russian airstrikes on Zaporizhia.

“Last night, Russian forces launched three air strikes on Zaporizhzhia. The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region was immediately deployed to the scene, working alongside local rescue services. Volunteers provided first aid to the injured and assisted in transporting three victims to medical facilities,” URCS said on Facebook Monday.

As reported, as a result of a nighttime enemy attack on Zaporizhia, one person was killed, 22 were injured, with five children among them.
