Sybiha meets with delegation of International Expert Group on Point 10 of Peace Formula
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has met with a delegation of the International Expert Group on Point 10 of the Formula for Peace on the confirmation of the end of the war.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service, the delegation was headed by Bob Dane, senior researcher, head of the security department and coordinator of the Center for Russia and Eastern Europe at the Clingendael Institute. It includes independent experts from India, Germany, Norway, Switzerland and Japan.
"The minister briefed the experts on the latest results of work on the implementation of the Peace Formula, holding themed conferences on its nine points during August-October, preparation of a common peace framework, which is a prerequisite for the second Peace Summit," the ministry said.
Sybiha noted the importance of achieving a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace, restoring respect for international law and the UN Charter, the invariability of the Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine principle.
He also emphasized the importance of the Victory Plan presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a tool to implement the Peace Formula and to force Russia to a just peace.
"The delegation of experts shared their vision of the way to restore a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace. The sides also discussed the results of the U.S. elections and a number of topics on the regional and international agenda," the press service said.
