SBU, SOF drones hit Russia's Aleksinsky chemical plant – source
Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Special Operations Forces (SOF) hit the Aleksinsky chemical plant in Russia's Tula region that produces gunpowder and ammunition for the Russian troops, an SBU source told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the source, an air raid alert was announced in several regions of Russia at 9:30 p.m. on Friday due to a drone attack. At 3 a.m., Tula residents started to post messages about an attack on the chemical plant, explosions and the movement of fire engines towards the scene of the fire.
"The SBU works in a comprehensive manner on the facilities on the territory of Russia that are involved in the war against Ukraine. The attacks on ammunition depots, military airfields and enterprises, which are part of the Russian military industry, reduce Russia's capability to terrorize our country," the sources said.
