Umerov invites veterans to take part in competition for positions in Rear Logistics Operator
War veterans will be able to take part in an open competition for a position in the State Rear Logistics Operator, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said.
"Today, about 1 million veterans live in Ukraine, who are returning to civilian life after defending our country... We invite them to take part in reforming the support system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine... During the two-month recruiting campaign, they will have the opportunity to take part in an open competition, choose the area of activity closest to them, and undergo basic training for rear workers," Umerov said on Facebook.
He said the Rear Logistics Operator "opens the doors for veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, ready to use their experience to change our army" and invited them to fill out a questionnaire on the agency's official website by December 15 at the link: https://dotua.org/ru/veterans/.
"Our key values – openness, human-centeredness, professionalism and virtue – will be a priority in the selection process and during teamwork," Umerov said.
