Okhmatdyt fully ready for work in fall-winter period – Liashko
The national children's hospital Okhmatdyt is fully ready for work during the fall-winter period, the priority emergency works to prepare the clinic for winter have been completed, Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Liashko has said Friday.
"On October 17, Okhmatdyt signed a contract to carry out priority emergency works, which will ensure the operation of the medical institution in the fall-winter period. Today, these works have already been completed and the medical institution is fully ready to work in the fall and winter period," he said in his speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
The minister specified that the works "have been completed by 70%."
Liashko noted that the tender for these works was transparent and according to its results it was possible to save UAH 2 million.
The minister also said that Okhmatdyt has prepared a medical assignment for the restoration of the old surgical building and that this medical assignment has now been submitted to the World Bank, "which is ready to undertake the full restoration of this building."
