Zelenskyy: Russia deprives Georgia of freedom, on the way to doing same with Moldova
Russia brought a pro-Russian government to power in Georgia and it is on the way to doing the same in Moldova, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"We have to admit that Russia has won in Georgia today. At first, they seized part of Georgia, then they changed its policy, changed its government, and now they have a pro-Russian government, pro-Russian positions. […] About Moldova. You will see that Russia is moving in the same direction," he said in an interview with Northern European media.
The head of state also said that Russia would do the same with Moldova if "the West does not stop dialogues about crossing the red lines." If such rhetoric continues, they will "lose Moldova in a year or two," he said.
