Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) rapid response teams provided assistance in the cities of Kyiv and Dnipro, where Russian airstrikes struck overnight Saturday.

"Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society rapid response team quickly arrived at the emergency site in Kyiv, setting up an aid station where those affected and their loved ones could receive first aid and psychological support and charge their phones," the URCS announced on Facebook on Saturday.

Volunteers offered hot drinks and snacks to residents of the damaged building and rescuers until emergency work was completed.

In the city of Dnipro, the URCS Dnipropetrovsk rapid response team worked at the missile strike site, assisting State Emergency Service rescuers in freeing people trapped under the rubble and transporting them to local hospitals. Volunteers provided initial medical aid to 10 people and also offered first psychological support on-site.

As reported, a Russian drone strike on Kyiv's Solomiansky district left one person dead and six injured.

In Dnipro, the overnight Russian missile strike resulted in four fatalities and 21 injuries, with seven victims hospitalized. More than 20 apartment buildings were damaged, with one building destroyed and another rendered uninhabitable.
