Shmyhal speaks in Helsinki about investment projects with participation of Finnish business

A number of large investment projects with the participation of Finnish business are already being implemented in Ukraine, and we expect that there will soon be many more, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

During a meeting with Finnish entrepreneurs in Helsinki on October 18, with the participation of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, Shmyhal noted that more than 20 projects of Finnish companies received support under the developed Plan for Participation in the Restoration of Ukraine, which provides effective tools to stimulate private business to invest in the Ukrainian economy.

As reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers on Saturday, Shmyhal identified industries in which "investments will be especially successful for business and useful for Ukraine."

In particular, in construction - these are advanced technologies, energy efficiency, and experience in the construction of civil defense facilities.

In energy - development of renewable energy, decentralization of the energy system, development of smart grids, energy storage systems, and waste-to-energy conversion.

In education - digitalization and development of the R&D model based on synergy between the government, universities and the private sector.

In telecommunications - sixth-generation wireless technologies, as well as advanced digital security technologies.
