Zelenskyy arrives at European Council meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the European Council summit (Brussels, Belgium) on Thursday, where he will present his Victory Plan to European leaders.
As reported, on Wednesday the president presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, consisting of five points and three secret annexes. The first point of the Plan is an invitation to Ukraine to join NATO, the second point is devoted to defense, the third point is deterrence, which provides for the deployment of a comprehensive non-nuclear deterrence package on Ukrainian territory to protect against the threat from the Russian Federation. The fourth point is devoted to the strategic economic potential of Ukraine, and the fifth is designed for the post-war period.
In turn, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that the Victory Plan, the first point of which is an invitation to Ukraine to join the alliance, will be the subject of discussion by the allies.
