Zelenskyy leaves for Brussels to take part in European Council meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on his way to Brussels (Belgium), where he will take part in a joint meeting of the European Council, as well as hold meetings at the European Parliament and meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

"Now on the way to Brussels. There will be a joint meeting of the European Council at the level of leaders. I will present the Victory Plan - our instrument for forcing Russia to peace, all the leaders of Europe will hear how to strengthen our positions. We need to end this war fairly," Zelenskyy said in a video address.

He thanked President of the European Council Charles Michel for the invitation.

The President will also hold meetings at the European Parliament with President Roberta Metsola and the heads of political groups.

"There will be a meeting with Mark Rutte, the NATO Secretary General. We are also preparing for a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of defense ministers. The main thing is more protection for Ukraine now, before winter," the President also said.
