Military transport Tu-134 destroyed in Orenburg – GUR
The Tu-134 military transport aircraft, which belonged to the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the armed forces of the aggressor state, burned down on the night of October 12-13, 2024, the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on its Telegram channel on Monday.
"The fire broke out at the Russian military airfield Orenburg-2, where the Tu-134 was based. Such Soviet aircraft are used, in particular, to transport the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense ... Every crime against the Ukrainian people will have due retribution!" the message says.
