Zelenskyy: Meeting in Ramstein postponed, new schedule may be prepared soon
The meeting in Ramstein, scheduled for this week, has been postponed, a new schedule may be prepared soon, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"The meeting in Ramstein, which was on the schedule this week, has now been postponed. The reason is quite obvious – the natural disasters in America, which require President Biden's maximum attention to the domestic situation," Zelenskyy said at a joint briefing with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic at the Ukraine-South East Europe summit in Dubrovnik on Wednesday.
According to Zelenskyy, any leader would have stayed in the country in such circumstances.
"But it is the leadership format of Ramstein that is especially significant, so we understand that a new schedule may be prepared in the near future," the Ukrainian president said. "Actually, at Ramstein it is best to coordinate with all partners the specific content of the victory plan, first of all the military points that reinforce us at the front," Zelenskyy said.
