Umerov promises info on major missile program in coming months
More information about Ukraine's major missile program will appear next year or by the end of this year, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has said on Wednesday.
"As you know, we have been recently focused on missile programs and drone programs. Next year, or by the end of this year, you will hear a lot about a major missile program," he said at the Second International Defense Industries Forum (DFNC2).
The minister recalled that Ukraine has already begun working on Ukrainian ballistic missiles.
Earlier, Umerov said that Ukraine has developed a missile program, and "it is quite strong." According to him, the Ukrainian side has already exchanged it with partners, who "have already given us verbal consent that they will finance this, and in the near future we will receive the final written response from our partners."
