Ukrnafta reports cases of fuel coupon forgery

Recently, there have been cases of forged UKRNAFTA fuel coupons, according to a statement from PJSC Ukrnafta on its Facebook page.

"We urge everyone to stay vigilant and avoid purchasing coupons from potential scammers!" the company warned its customers.

According to Ukrnafta, the counterfeit coupons are being sold on classified ad websites and may resemble genuine ones at first glance. However, they contain incorrect information, making them unusable at filling stations.

Additionally, there have been instances where expired coupons were resold, rendering them equally invalid at the stations.

"Authentic coupons for quality fuel, which are popular among drivers, can only be purchased from the company Ukrnafta-Postach LLC... For this, a legal entity must sign a corresponding contract," Ukrnafta reminded.

For individuals, it's more convenient to use the UKRNAFTA mobile app, which provides a UAH 2 discount per liter of diesel and gasoline and a UAH 0.5 discount per liter of liquefied gas for up to 50 liters of chosen fuel monthly.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine's largest oil extraction company and operates a national network of filling stations. In March 2024, the company took over the management of Glusco assets, and now operates 545 filling stations – 460 of its own and 85 under management.

The company is implementing a comprehensive program to renew operations and modernize the format of its filling stations. Since February 2023, Ukrnafta has been offering its own fuel vouchers and NAFTA Cards, which are sold to both legal entities and individuals through Ukrnafta-Postach LLC.

The largest shareholder in Ukrnafta is Naftogaz Ukrainy, which holds a 50%+1 share. In November 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer the corporate rights of the company, previously owned by private shareholders, to the state. The Ministry of Defense now oversees these shares.
