URCS Deputy Director briefs EU institutions on winter challenges
The Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), Ilya Kletskovsky, briefed participants of the European Union Council's Integrated Political Crisis Response (IPCR) meeting on Ukraine's needs and the challenges of the upcoming winter.
"During his presentation… Kletskovsky outlined the extent of damage and losses caused by the new wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. He also explained the URCS' response system to the energy crisis and presented the organization's winter preparedness strategy for 2024-2025," URCS said on Facebook.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, and permanent delegations to the EU, responsible for developing specific EU response measures to complex political crises.
