Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against six individuals, more than 40 legal entities from Russia, Iran and China – decree

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put into effect the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council, which supported the proposals made by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on the application of sanctions against six individuals and more than 40 legal entities from the Russian Federation, Iran and the People's Republic of China (PRC), the website of the head of state reports.

Relevant decrees No. 638 and No. 639 dated September 19 were published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state.

In particular, decree No. 638/2024 imposed sanctions against six citizens of the Russian Federation, Iran and China for a period of ten years, as well as against 40 legal entities of the Russian Federation, Iran and China for the same period.

As well as decree No. 369/2024 imposed sanctions against two enterprises, in particular the Russian LLC Ship Lighting Engineering Plant Mayak, and the Federal state-owned enterprise Kazan State Gunpowder Plant.
