Ukrainian MFA calls on Zurich Film Festival organizers not to ruin reputation by screening propaganda film Russians at War
Ukraine calls on the organizers of the Zurich Film Festival not to ruin the festival's reputation by screening the film Russians at War, which is propaganda and whitewashes the war crimes of the Russian Federation, spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Heorhiy Tykhy said.
"We urge Zurich Film Festival organizers not to ruin the festival’s reputation by screening Russians at War. This is a propaganda film that whitewashes war crimes, not a documentary. Real Russians at war are invaders, war criminals, and rapists. Covering them up makes you complicit," he wrote on the social network X.
