AFU General Staff: 103 clashes have recorded since day start

Since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, Russian troops have attacked 26 times in Kurakhove direction, Tsukuryne, Ukrayinsk, Heorhiyivka and Kostiantynivka are under the constant onslaught of the occupiers, in Pokrovsk direction battles are taking place near Novo-Oleksandrivka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhaylivka and Chervonyi Yar, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

"Currently, the number of military clashes has increased to 103. It is the hottest in Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions now. The Defense Forces are taking all necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory," the General Staff said in a Facebook report on Wednesday.

It is reported that 23 out of 26 attacks by the occupiers have already been repulsed in Kurakhove direction. "In Pokrovsk direction, the Russian invaders, with the support of aviation, carried out 24 attempts to oust our defenders from their positions in the areas of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhaylivka and Chervonyi Yar. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 21 enemy attacks, three clashes are still ongoing," the General Staff informs.

In Lymany direction, the Russians attacked seven times near Druzheliubivka, Cherneschyna, Nevske and Makiyivka. Two fights are still going on.

Commenting on the situation in Siversk direction, the General Staff notes that "the occupying forces continue to look for weaknesses in our defense near Verkhniokamyanske." One assault has been repulsed, and another continues.

In Kramatorsk area, since the beginning of the day, units of the Defense Forces have repelled three attacks by Russian invaders near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky. In Toretsk direction, the enemy tried seven times to wedge into our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Dachne, Scherbynivka, Nelypivka and New York.
