Victory plan should be presented at 2nd Peace Summit to force Russia to peace through diplomacy – Zelenskyy

The victory plan of Ukraine is a plan of its strengthening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Wednesday, adding that this plan should be presented at the second Peace Summit to force Russia to end the war through diplomacy.

"About the negotiation plan. I will be consistent. First, I will discuss it with President [of the United States Joseph] Biden. Because it [the plan] mostly depends on the support of the United States and other partners. But I think everybody understands that there is a volume of influence, there is a volume of assistance. And that's why there are no unnecessary words here. I think it is clear why I will do it in this order," he said at a press conference.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the head of state emphasized that the plan will have both psychological and political nature, as well as "weapons of different nature" that can influence Russia's decision to end this war.

"This plan should be presented at the second Peace Summit in order to force Russia to end the war through diplomacy. If the partners support it, it will make it easier for Ukraine to force an end to the war," Zelenskyy said.

At the same time, answering the question about alleged cooperation with Qatar and Turkey on negotiations with Russia, the President of Ukraine noted that "someone must have the authority in order to talk to the Russians. I personally did not give such authorization to anyone."
