Zelenskyy discusses with Meloni restoration of Ukraine's energy system, Peace Formula implementation
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Chair of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni on the sidelines of the Ambrosetti Forum.
"The restoration of Ukraine, in particular the energy system, is one of the issues discussed during the meeting. We appreciate Italy's decision to host the next Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will take place in 2025," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Saturday.
"We also discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula. Italy is actively involved in the implementation of each point. I thank Giorgia Meloni and the Italian people for their support and joint work to restore a fair peace," the head of the Ukrainian state added.
The Ambrosetti Forum is being held in Cernobbio, Italy, on September 6-8. Zelenskyy arrived there after the 24th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, which took place on Friday at the Ramstein Air Base (Germany).
