Zelenskyy informs leader of Party for Freedom in Netherlands about security situation in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with leader of the Party for Freedom, member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands Geert Wilders within the Ambrosetti Forum in Italy, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state reports.
"The head of state informed about the security situation in Ukraine and the challenges that the country faces while confronting full-scale Russian aggression," the statement said.
Zelenskyy thanked the Netherlands and all the Dutch people for their defense, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine.
"We are very grateful for the assistance and warm attitude that our internally displaced persons in the Netherlands have received since the beginning of the full-scale war. Thank you for all the support you have provided. We have very good relations with your country," Zelenskyy addressed Wilders.
The president also noted the significant contribution of the Netherlands to strengthening the Ukrainian air defense.
The head of state informed his interlocutor about Ukraine's efforts to restore a fair and lasting peace.
"In particular, the process of implementing the Peace Formula based on the results of the first, inaugural Peace Summit and preparations for the second Summit were discussed," the press service reported.
