Zelenskyy arrives at Ramstein for meeting of Ukraine Defense Contact Group, to meet with Austin, Pistorius
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany to participate in a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
"I will take part in the meeting of the group and will meet with U.S. and German Defense Ministers Lloyd Austin and Boris Pistorius. I will separately hold talks with Chancellor Olaf Scholz," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Friday.
According to him, Ukraine needs "the determination of partners and resources to stop Russian air terror." "We need all the weapons from the already announced aid packages to finally reach the combat brigades. And we need strong long-range decisions from partners to bring closer the just peace we strive for," the head of state said.
The President announced his trip to Italy after the negotiations in Ramstein.
"International Economic Forum Ambrosetti, meetings with representatives of Italian business. Negotiations with Chair of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni. We will coordinate positions with all G7 allies," Zelenskyy wrote.
