The Ukrainian Red Cross, with the assistance of the Austrian Red Cross, launches a new program for business recovery and development in Ukraine, REDpreneur.UA

"A program that will provide new opportunities has been launched. REDpreneur.UA is an innovative two-year program. [...] Thanks to this program about 70 business projects of participants will receive funding from EUR 5,000 to EUR 15,000 and a long-term mentoring support. The program is part of the international REDpreneur franchise and is aimed at restoring Ukraine's economic potential by supporting small and micro businesses," the Ukrainian Red Cross said on Facebook on Thursday.

One of the program's goals is to develop entrepreneurship among vulnerable groups of population. The program will help provide business opportunities for women, internally displaced persons, veterans, people with disabilities and other socially vulnerable groups.

The program will also contribute to the restoration of economic activity in the war-affected regions of Ukraine, which will help restore jobs and attract to economic life those who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression.

Entrepreneurs participating in the project will receive the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully run their businesses, material resources and support to create a favorable environment for the development of their enterprises.

The program also provides for various educational activities, trainings and coaching sessions that will help participants develop their managerial and entrepreneurial skills. According to the project, four sessions will be held where 100 beneficiaries will receive free training on starting a business. The training will be conducted in collaboration with local business incubators and business schools, including theory and practice. Inspiration sessions will motivate participants for new achievements.

The online academy will provide access to up-to-date educational materials and courses. Workshops will help participants to apply the knowledge gained in practice. Networking will help to establish important business connections and find partners.

At the end of the program, participants will present their business plans, financial models and short presentations for potential investors.
