As part of a visit to the United States, the Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with national security advisers of the United States, Great Britain, Germany and France.

As reported by the presidential press service, the Ukrainian side was also attended by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak; Defense Minister Rustem Umerov; Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova; Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Mykola Tochytsky and Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office Daria Zarivna.

In turn, the U.S. delegation was headed by President's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, the UK delegation was headed by the National Security Advisor Timothy Barrow, the German delegation was headed by the Chancellor's Advisor on Foreign and Security Policy Jens Plötner, and the French delegation was headed by the President's Foreign Policy Advisor Emmanuel Bonn.

"The parties discussed efforts to further strengthen the Ukrainian air defense and protect the energy system," the press service said.

At the same time, Yermak said it is critically important for Ukraine to receive the necessary weapons and equipment as soon as possible.

"Our coordination and joint efforts are crucial. We have already come a long way together and done a lot. But now is a special moment when we need to make every effort for Ukraine to win. It is important to use this moment correctly," the Presidential Office head said.

He said the advisers had come a long way for the meeting and thanked them for their joint work.

Umerov also spoke about the situation on the battlefield and the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"During the meeting, they also discussed expanding the possibilities of joint weapons production and investments by allies in the defense industry of our state," according to the statement.
