Poroshenko transferring 1,150 drones, batch of other equipment for military in Pokrovsk direction
Leader of the European Solidarity party, Ukraine’s MP Petro Poroshenko, has prepared another batch of FPV drones and other equipment for transfer to Ukrainian servicemen fighting in Pokrovsk region of Donetsk region, the political force said on its website on Wednesday.
The military assistance package includes 1,150 drones, a mine-clearing robot for sappers, ATVs for evacuating the wounded and assaults, Mavics for artillery adjustments, trench electronic warfare equipment, charging stations, as well as mobile car repair shops with a total cost of about UAH 30 million.
"The equipment of our military suffered a lot in Pokrovsk, and we equipped mobile car repair shops with tools and spare parts. ATVs, first of all, are needed to evacuate the wounded," Poroshenko said.
The political force noted that this is the second batch of military aid that it transfers to military personnel in Donetsk region during a week.
"We worked 10 days in the Sumy direction, helping those who are now abroad, and were in the Kharkiv direction. And now we are going to Pokrovsk again. There is real hell there. The Russians are attacking in waves, despite suffering heavy losses… I know for sure: all this equipment will definitely do the Russians a lot of damage,” Poroshenko said.
