Zelenskyy signs law on ratification of Rome Statute
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law on the ratification of the Rome Statute, the corresponding document was published on the website of the Ukrainian Parliament.
Also, the press service of the Ukrainian Parliament reported on Telegram that the official print edition of the Verkhovna Rada newspaper Voice of Ukraine published Law of Ukraine on the Ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and Amendments to it No. 3909-IX
"The importance of ratifying the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court is due to the fact that the International Criminal Court is the main international legal instrument on the way to bringing Russian war criminals to justice," the Parliament's Telegram channel said.
This Law enters into force on the day following its publication.
It was previously reported that the Verkhovna Rada ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court on August 21.
