USA preparing new package of military assistance to Kyiv for $125 mln – media
The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden will send Ukraine another $125 million package of military assistance, the Associated Press (AP) reported, citing sources from among official representatives.
The package will include missiles for air defense systems, ammunition for HIMARS missile systems, Javelin anti-tank portable complexes and others, systems and equipment for combating drones, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery ammunition, vehicles and other equipment, the agency informs.
It notes that "an announcement can be made as early as Friday, on the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day." The arms shipments are carried out by order of the President and will be made from Pentagon warehouses to speed up delivery.
