General Staff reports 106 combat clashes at front, most tense situation on Pokrovsk axis
As of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the number of combat clashes along the entire front line increased to 106, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said, adding that the most tense situation is on the Pokrovsk axis.
The enemy artillery forces shelled Bachivsk, Porozok, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Prohres, and inflicted an air strike on Hlukhiv.
On the Kharkiv axis, the adversary carried out three assaults on the Ukrainian units in the vicinity of Vovchansk. There is an ongoing fighting there. The enemy dropped guided air bombs on Kozacha Lopan and Lyptsi.
On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy carried out four assaults in the areas of Lozova, Petropavlivka, and Synkivka. The defense forces repelled two attacks and two combat clashes are ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, the occupation forces conducted nine assault operations in the vicinity of Makiyivka, Nevske and Terny, one battle continues near Nevske.
On the Siversky axis, the enemy made 17 attempts to push the Ukrainian defense units out of their positions in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne and Vyimka. There are four ongoing combat clashes in this direction.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the adversary carried out four assault operations near Chasiv Yar and Andriyivka, two of which are ongoing.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy conducted 14 assault operations covered by fighter jets in the areas of New York, where the Ukrainian defenders have repelled three attacks, Zalizne, Pivnichne and Toretsk, where nine assaults have been repelled and two combat clashes continue.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the occupiers launched 37 assaults on the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Zelene Pole, Vodiane, Skuchne, Karlivka, and Ptyche. The defense forces are holding the line and have repelled 25 enemy assaults. There are twelve ongoing combat clashes in this direction. The enemy attacked Vozdvyzhenka and Hrodivka by guided air bombs and Oleksandropil by unguided air missiles.
On the Kurakhove axis, five enemy assaults were recorded. The enemy made an attempt to advance towards Kostiantynivka and Krasnohorivka. There is one ongoing battle in the vicinity of Heorhiyivka.
On the Vremiv axis, the defense forces are repelling two assaults on Vodiane. The enemy also carried out four unsuccessful attempts to advance towards Vuhledar and Vodiane.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy forces three times tried to advance in the vicinity of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka, but were fiercely repelled. The enemy carried out an air raid on Lobkove.
On the Prydniprovsky axis, the occupiers carried out four unsuccessful assault operations.
