Occupiers drop 31 air bombs on Sumy region, launch 30 air missiles at Zaporizhia region since midnight
On Tuesday, the Russian occupation forces continued shelling border settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions and dropped 31 guided aerial bombs on the cities of Sumy, Vorozhba, Bilopillia and a number of villages in Sumy region since the beginning of the day.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the 4 p.m. updates on the Russian invasion, published on Facebook, on the Orikhiv axis, the enemy launched 30 strikes with unguided aerial missiles on the area of Bilohirya in Zaporizhia region. On the Prydniprovsky axis, 15 missiles were launched by the enemy to strike Mykolaivka in Kherson region. On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked Serhiyivka, Donetsk region.
The occupiers also dropped seven guided aerial bombs on Toretsk, and carried out four airstrikes on Oleksandropil and Hrodivka in Donetsk region.
A total of 80 combat clashes occurred along the front line since the beginning of the day, and almost half of them were recorded on the Pokrovsk axis.
"The defense forces are holding back the onslaught of Russian troops and have repelled 22 attacks, 14 combat clashes are ongoing," the General Staff said.
On the Kharkiv axis, there were twelve combat clashes, two of which are ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, the occupiers stormed the positions of the Ukrainian defenders six times, one battle is ongoing.
On the Toretsk axis, there were four combat clashes, one attack was repelled near Toretske and Zalizne, the fighting continues.
On the Kramatorsk axis, two combat clashes are ongoing near Chasiv Yar, another attack near the village of Bila Hora in Donetsk region has been repelled.
On the Siversky and Prydniprovsky axes, there were five combat clashes during the day, and three – on the Kurakhove axis. The enemy was repelled in all of these directions.
No active enemy operations were recorded on the Kupyansk axis.
