UAH 150,000 grant program to be launched for first projects for entrepreneurs under 25 since Sept – Zelenskyy
This autumn, state programs for Ukrainian youth will start working, in particular, a mortgage program for Ukrainians under the age of 25, as well as the provision of grants of UAH 150,000 for the first projects for small businesses, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“The existing state program eOselia will provide a reduction of the down payment to 10% for young Ukrainians under 25 years old – the relevant program should start working this fall. This is indeed a very good mortgage program. It offers 3% annual interest for military personnel, doctors, teachers and law enforcement officers, and 7% annual interest for other categories,” Zelenskyy said at the Ukrainian Youth Forum on Monday.
In addition, according to the President, a new business grant program for Ukrainians under the age of 25 will be launched from September.
“This is for starting or developing one’s own small business. We begin with grants of UAH 150,000 for initial projects. All details will be presented by our Government,” he added.
Also in September, a program to support applicants will start.
“Together with the Government, we will gradually increase funding for this and other relevant programs supporting our Ukrainian youth,” Zelenskyy stressed.
