Google provides free access to higher education institutions to the Google Cloud Skills Boost platform, the Ministry of Education and Science has reported.

"The Ministry of Education and Science and Google are launching a new program for institutions of higher and professional higher education. Google Cloud Skills Boost is a free program for developing skills in the field of cloud technologies. Students and teachers will have access to courses on cloud engineering, data analytics, cyber security and generative AI," the ministry said.

It is noted that each participant will receive: free access to the Google Cloud Skills Boost platform within the framework of the program; practical skills in the Google Cloud Console; certificates and badges of Google Cloud skills — qualifications after completing the training course and visibility for employers; workshops with Google experts and leaders of the Ukrainian IT industry; resources to enhance cloud expertise, career development and tips for preparing for an interview.

According to the report, the start of the program is scheduled for September 2024.
