HQ orders humanitarian plan for territory under operation in Kursk region – Zelenskyy
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff Headquarters instructed the interior minister of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to draw up a humanitarian plan for the territory under operation in Kursk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Monday.
"The most important thing was a report by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky on our defensive operations at the front and the operation in Kursk region. We are grateful to all soldiers and commanders for their resilience and decisive action. Among other things, the interior minister and other officials of the SBU were instructed to draw up a humanitarian plan for the territory under operation," he said on the Telegram channel.
Also, the HQ instructed the Coordination Headquarters, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), the SBU, and the Defense Ministry of Ukraine to prepare "a clear and transparent strategy of returning our people from Russian captivity."
The defense minister and diplomats were ordered to submit a list of necessary actions for Ukraine to obtain partners' permission for the use of long-range weapons for the defense of Ukraine.
"There was a report from the economic block by First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. We are increasing the share of Ukrainian production in public procurement. The government is preparing detailed predictable contracts for five-ten years for our enterprises," the head of state said.
