New Indian Ambassador hands copies of credentials to Ukrainian Dpty FM

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to Ukraine, Shri Ravi Shankar, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has said.

The deputy minister thanked India for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine, regular participation in the meetings of national security advisers on the implementation of the Peace Formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as the presence of the Indian representative at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

The parties noted the high level of political dialogue between the two states, in particular the meeting of President Zelenskyy with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in June, and the official visit of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to New Delhi in March, and discussed the further development of such dialogue.

"The Ukrainian and Indian diplomats exchanged views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational and other areas of mutual interest. Andriy Sybiha wished the Indian Ambassador success in fulfilling his mission in Ukraine," the ministry said.
