Zelenskyy extends martial law, mobilization for another three months
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a bill extending martial law and mobilization for another three months after August 12, 2024.
As reported in the card of relevant bill No. 11434 on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, it was adopted by Parliament on July 23, and returned on August 7 with the signature of the head of the Ukrainian state.
"The draft law provides for the approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine 'On the extension of the general mobilization period,' which extends the period of general mobilization from August 12, 2024 for 90 days," the explanatory note says.
