The Kyiv Professional College of Architecture, Construction and Management, which was damaged as a result of the Russian missile attack in January, is ready for the new academic year, which is a great merit of the Luxembourg Red Cross mission in Ukraine.

According to the director of the college, Valeriy Bulhakov, with the financing and assistance of the Luxembourg Red Cross, 55 metal-plastic windows were installed in the building of the educational institution instead of those that broke as a result of the Russian attack.

“They did a great job. Thanks to their help, after the Russian missile attack, we were working literally only on the remote basis for two months. Without their help, we would have had big problems starting classes. And now everything is ready for the new academic year. We have wonderful audiences,” Bulhakov told an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.

According to him, representatives of the Luxembourg Red Cross mission in Ukraine monitored the progress of the work, monitored its quality.

“We decided to provide our support to the educational institution, primarily because it was winter and we understood very well that students could not continue their studies without windows ... It was very important for us to do everything as soon as possible so that students could return to college again. It is important for us that young people have a socialized life, so that they can study in their building, and not online,” said Gulnamo Khudobakhshova, head of the Luxembourg Red Cross mission in Ukraine, after visiting the college.

Currently, 1,400 students study at the Kyiv Professional College of Architecture, Construction and Management.
