We must end the war on our Ukrainian terms – Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked employees of the military-industrial complex and military personnel for strikes on Russian airfields, oil refining and logistics, stressing that Ukraine must end the war on its own terms.

"This is most effective when the consequences of the Russian war return home to Russia, and when the enemy does not have a single quiet place in the occupied territory of our state. Today, the details of these strikes were reported to me by Commander-in-Chief Syrsky. Warriors, thank you to everyone involved!" Zelenskyy said in an evening video message.

The Head of State also thanked those who continue to work with partners and tell them: "Ukraine needs to strike – really long–range strikes - at the Russian occupier. Where there is an occupier, where Russia strikes Ukraine from, where it launches missiles, shaheds, bombs."

"We need this solution so that we can act with all the weapons that can be effective. We must protect the lives of our people and end the war on our Ukrainian terms. And every strike that accurately responds to Russia's aerial bombs, destroys Russian logistics, Russian bases, complicates the occupier's stay on our land – each such strike brings a just end to the war. It is fair for us, for the world, for Ukraine, for everyone who values life," he stressed.

The President also stated that "all sanctions, every manifestation of pressure on the aggressor for this war must continue to work and strengthen so that the Russian state cannot circumvent the sanctions. The more difficult it will be for Moscow to maintain its military establishment, to provide for its army, the more it will really force Russia to peace."
