Occupiers lose 1,180 military personnel in past 24 hours – General Staff
The Ukrainian military destroyed 1,180 enemy personnel, six tanks, 31 armored vehicles, 69 artillery systems, 24 drones, and 71 units of automotive and special equipment in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has reported on Monday morning.
"The enemy's total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to August 5, 2024 approximately amounted to 584,090 (plus 1,180) personnel, 8,417 tanks (plus six), 16,286 armored combat vehicles (plus 31), 16,345 artillery systems (plus 69), 1,138 MLRS, 910 air defense systems, 365 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 13,122 operational-tactical level UAVs (plus 24), 2,414 cruise missiles, 28 ships/boats, one submarine, 22,094 units of automotive equipment and tank trucks (plus 68), and 2,737 units of special equipment (plus three)," it said on the Telegram channel.
The General Staff emphasized that due to the constant receipt of updated intelligence data, there was a need to adjust some positions of the total losses of the enemy – air defense assets, aircraft, UAVs, cruise missiles, automotive and special equipment. The total figure has been corrected, and the losses for the day are filed as usual.
