Zelenskyy holds meeting in Kharkiv region on security, energy situation in the region
During a working visit to Kharkiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with representatives of local authorities on the security and energy situation in the region.
"Kharkiv region. Meeting on security and energy situation. The main focus is on preparing Kharkiv and the region for the heating period," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
In particular, according to the head of state, he heard reports on the operational situation, protection of energy sector facilities, overcoming energy shortages and providing heat and electricity in the autumn-winter period.
The President expects a clear plan to protect the skies of Kharkiv region and restore energy infrastructure facilities, his press service reported.
The head of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, spoke about the progress of work on the engineering protection of energy sector facilities and announced the timing when it will be possible to overcome the energy deficit in the region.
Oleksiy Chernyshev, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, also reported on ensuring the decentralization of energy and the connection of cogeneration plants.
In turn, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, and commander of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic group of Troops, Andriy Hnatov, reported to the head of state on the operational situation in the region and within the limits of the group's responsibility.
