Arricano invests UAH 17.5 mln in restoration of Soniachna Halereya trade center

The developer of shopping complexes Arricano invested UAH 17.5 million in the restoration of the Soniachna Halereya (Sun Gallery) shopping center (Kryvy Rih) damaged as a result of a missile attack, said head of the board of directors of Arricano Margus Kurm in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

He recalled that the Soniachna Halereya building was damaged on January 8, 2024 due to a Russian missile attack.

“The building has undergone significant damage. According to experts, repair work will cost more than UAH 30 million. We have already spent UAH 17.5 million and need to invest more to fully restore the shopping center. Since February, the Soniachna Halereya center has partially resumed work. According to the conclusions of experts, the premises of the complex are safe for visitors and staff. It is also good that we do not see an outflow of tenants. Almost all areas are occupied,” Kurm said.

He added that during the war, all Arricano shopping centers function not only as a place for shopping, but also as a social space.

“As you know, in Kryvy Rih and Zaporizhia the power supply system was damaged due to shelling. We organized our own power generators and prepared everything so that, if necessary, we could quickly open, so to speak, Points of Invincibility - public points where people can heat up food and charge their phones and other devices. We clearly understand our responsibility for the trade center as objects of critical infrastructure,” Kurm noted.

Arricano Real Estate Plc (Cyprus) specializes in the construction of shopping and entertainment centers and is one of the leading developers in the Ukrainian real estate market. It owns and manages five shopping centers in the country with a total area of 147,600 square meters, including RayON and Prospekt in Kyiv, Sun Gallery in Kryvy Rih, and City Mall in Zaporizhia. The company also owns 49.9% in the Sky Mall shopping center (Kyiv) and land plots for the further construction of three facilities that are at the design stage.
