Russia has once again attacked energy facilities in the Odessa region, the DTEK energy holding has reported.

"Odesa region: the enemy has struck the energy sector again. And again, the damage is significant, and restoration takes time. Our teams are working on the ground," DTEK wrote in its Telegram channel.

As previously reported, DTEK had previously reported nighttime strikes on its thermal power plants, which caused significant damage to equipment.

According to the Ministry of Energy, eight regions of Ukraine were under attack today. The Russian Federation attacked with several types of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, as well as drones on high-rise buildings and power plants - on thermal power plants and thermal power plants that operated exclusively in the heating mode of districts in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro. As a result, hundreds of thousands of families were purposefully left without heat, the agency emphasized.
