Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko instructed the Ministry of Energy to provide a plan for increasing cogeneration for the next year with indicators and measures by the end of December.
"The government continues to build a cogeneration network. It will ensure the energy sustainability of communities and independence from large facilities that are purposefully destroyed by the enemy. I instructed the Ministry of Energy to provide a plan for increasing cogeneration for the next year with indicators and measures by the end of December. We expect an increase in capacity twice the current indicators," Svyrydenko said on Telegram Telegram on Fridday after a meeting of government.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted that the government is eliminating regulatory barriers.
"I have tasked the Ministry of Economy to create a single window for business on issues of connecting to networks. The algorithm for entrepreneurs should be simple and clear, and we will promptly consider and resolve all issues," she added.
Among other things, Svyrydenko noted that the Cabinet of Ministers is working on a special gas tariff for owners of cogeneration plants, which will use their capacities to ensure the operation of critical infrastructure facilities on the ground.
"Available loans 5–7–9, grants, compensation programs continue to operate. A mechanism for insurance of military risks will come into effect in 2026. She instructed the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and the State Energy Supervision Agency to ensure the protection of the rights of entities that are ready to participate in the development of the network," the report says.
