Ukraine, Lithuania to hold joint intergovernmental consultations in Kyiv by year end – Shmyhal
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Kazlauskas the holding of joint intergovernmental consultations in Kyiv by the end of 2024.
"Lithuania is one of the biggest supporters and advocates of our state in the international arena. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with assistance worth more than EUR 1.5 billion, which is 2% of the country's GDP. We appreciate the decision of our Lithuanian friends to allocate 0.25% of GDP annually to the needs of the security and defense of our state," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister also expects the continuation of the implementation of common projects in key sectors between the countries.
